The Start-Up Unit is a research Unit founded through the support of Fondazione AIRC and investigating key aspects of hormone-related cancers. The group is led by Ernestina De Francesco, within the Lab of Endocrinology at the Department of Clinical and Experimental Medicine (University of Catania, Catania, Italy). The Lab of Endocrinology is located within the Clinical Unit of Endocrinology (Director Prof. A. Belfiore) at the Hospital Garibaldi Nesima, (Catania)​
